DJI Thermal Analysis Tool shows temperatures.
ThermoComposer turns them into reports.

Stop copy-pasting screenshots into Word. ThermoComposer processes your DJI R-JPEG files natively in the browser — no installs, no format conversions — and auto-generates a professional inspection report in minutes.

How it works

Three steps. That's it.

1

Upload R-JPEGs

Drag your DJI thermal files straight from the SD card. No conversion, no SDK, no prep work.

2

Analyse & annotate

Apply palettes, measure temperatures, mark findings. All in the browser — real-time, 60fps.

3

Export .docx report

One click generates a fully formatted Word report. Edit it, brand it, send it.

Why inspectors switch

The DJI Thermal Analysis Tool is
not a reporting tool.

DTAT shows you temperatures. Getting those temperatures into a client-ready report means hours of manual work — every single time.

DJI Thermal Analysis Tool
~6 hours per report
  • Buggy UI — menus overlap, buttons silently fail
  • Export to TIFF for other tools? Files come out white and unreadable
  • No report generation — you're on your own in Word
  • Screenshot each thermal image manually, one by one
  • Copy-paste findings into Word, align images by hand
  • Repeat for every finding across every image
  • Windows desktop only — can't work from another machine
"Even the updated V2 is not very useable for thermography to be honest."
— Inspector on r/Thermal
ThermoComposer
~90 minutes per report
  • Upload R-JPEG files directly — no format conversion
  • Temperatures decoded instantly, all parameters editable
  • Click findings, annotate, apply palettes — all in the browser
  • Thermal & RGB image pairs matched automatically by GPS
  • One click generates a fully-formatted Word report
  • Report is a real .docx — edit freely in Word afterwards
  • Works on any computer, any OS, no installation
From the community

Thermal inspectors are done fighting their tools.

Real quotes from thermography forums. This is the reality we're building for.

"I spend more time fighting the software than actually analyzing thermal data. What should take 30 minutes takes half a day."
RI
Roof inspector DJI Forum, 2025
"Frustrating because DJI Thermal Tool is weak and nothing else, to my knowledge, uses R-JPEG. We're stuck."
EA
Energy auditor r/Thermal, 2025
"We fly DJI drones but the entire post-processing pipeline is broken. We screenshot, paste into Word, and pray the formatting holds."
BI
Building inspector r/drones, 2024

FAQ

Common questions

Which DJI drones are supported?

ThermoComposer supports all DJI drones that output R-JPEG thermal images, including the Mavic 3T, Matrice 350 RTK + Zenmuse H30T, Matrice 30T, and Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced. If your drone saves thermal images as R-JPEG, it works.

Do I need to install anything?

No. ThermoComposer runs entirely in your browser. Works on Windows, Mac, Linux, even iPad. No desktop software, no DJI SDK, no format converters.

Can I use my own Word report template?

Yes. Upload your own branded .docx template with placeholders, or start from our professional default template. Either way, the output is a fully editable Word file — not a locked PDF.

What about FLIR cameras?

Our initial release focuses on DJI R-JPEG, which is the most underserved format. FLIR radiometric formats are on the roadmap. Tell us if this is a priority for you.

Is my data safe?

All data is stored on EU servers (Frankfurt) with encryption at rest and in transit. Signed URLs ensure only you can access your images. We never share your data with third parties.

How much will it cost?

We're targeting $49–69/month for the full product. Early access members get 3 months free and a discounted rate when we launch.
